Harvard Community Partners of CT

Stephen H. Baum is proud to serve on the board of Harvard Community Partners of CT, whose mission is to engage our nearly 3000 alumni in a variety of pro bono activities which enhance the effectiveness of not-for-profit leadership in our communities.
We apply our education, experience and skills to make good organizations better in what is an extension of a national program.
Among the activities are:
- Pro-bono consulting projects in which small teams of alumni work on strategic issues with leadership teams of not-for-profits
- Pro-bono facilitated workshops for Executive Directors and Board Chairs on mission tune-up and, soon, balanced score-card, strategic planning, performance management and more
- Scholarships for exemplary not-for-profit leaders to attend executive education courses at the Harvard Business School
- The Turbo Award for exemplary not-for-profit organizations' accomplishments as inspiration and benchmarks for others
